Mr. Felix Yip
Vice President – Human Resources and Administration

Dr. Felix Yip has been with i-CABLE Communications Ltd, a member of the Wharf (Holdings) Limited and the leading provider of info-tainment & Pay Television and telecommunication & broadband services in Hong Kong SAR, as the Vice President – Human Resources and Administration since February 2005. He is responsible for the HRM for the i-CABLE Group and
its business in China and Hong Kong SAR. Prior to joining i-CABLE Group, he was with the Chinese Business Operations of San Miguel Brewing International Ltd, a member of the San Miguel Corporation with head office in the Philippines, as General Manager – Human Resources & Administration for over ten years, responsible for HRM in China and Hong Kong & Macau SARs. Dr. Yip started his career in the Dairy Farm Group of Companies, the Food manufacturing, Wholesaling and Retailing Division of the Jardine Pacific Ltd, and obtained managerial positions in the area of human resource management in its Head Office and a number of its subsidiaries in Hong Kong for over thirteen years.

Dr. Yip holds four Masters’ Degrees, namely Master of Science in Personnel Management from Salford University in U.K., Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University in U.S.A., Master of Science in Engineering specializing in Industrial Engineering from the University of Hong Kong and Master of Chinese and Comparative Laws from City University of Hong Kong, and a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr. Yip is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development in U.K. and Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management. Dr. Yip is also dedicated to HR community work and is currently a committee member of the Membership Committee and China Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management and the President of the Hong Kong People Management Association.
