Dr. Wang Jing
Associate Professor

Dr. Jim Wang obtained his Ph.D. in Finance from Columbia University in the city of New York. He then worked for Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. and Bear Stearns and Co. Inc., New York, in the area of fixed income and derivatives research and strategies.

In Asia, Dr. Wang has gained his experience in banking, financing, and security trading from assuming such various senior positions as a director of Corporate Banking Department at Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong, Managing Director of JS Cresvale International Ltd. in Hong Kong, Managing Director of SinoPac Securities Asia Ltd. in Hong Kong and Chief Executive of Proprietary Trading Group for Jih Sun Financial Holding Co. Ltd. in Taiwan. Dr. Wang currently is Associate Professor and Managing Director of Venture Capital and SME Center, Global Management Education Institute, Shanghai University. He also serves as an independent non-executive director for Minth Group (Listed in HKSE with stock code 425).
