Mr. Richard Fong
Chief Talent Management Officer, Lord & Triggs Company Ltd.

Richard is Chief Talent Management Officer of Lord & Triggs Company Ltd., an International Environmental Technology, Ltd. he joined the company in 2006. Before joining Lord & Trigg, Richard served as South China Human Resources Director of Philips Consumer Electronics between 2005-2006, where he acted as business HR partners and led Philips BG HENT¡¯s human resources projects in China and Hong Kong.
Richard was Group Director of Health Vision Enterprises, a subsidiary of the German STADA Arzneimittel AG Pharmaceutical Group from 2004-2005. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Global Synergy Alliance Ltd., supporting the ongoing development, advancement and promotion of human capital and knowledge management concepts principles and techniques.

Upon returning from the States (between 1993-2002), Richard held various management positions first with QPL International Holdings Ltd., a public listed multinational semiconductor company with gross revenue exceeding USD 400 million. As Corporate Director and Chairman Representative in 1993, he supervised systems support 8 countries, in excess of 7,000 staff. Richard joined Organizational Development Ltd., a UK based consulting company specialized in corporate governance and change management in 1997. As Head of Management Consultancy, he lead the division¡¯s business and human resources projects in the areas of strategic review, director development, culture & change management and continuous process improvement as well as human capital development.

In 1998, Richard served as Human Resources Director with Jabil Circuit, Inc., a USD 7 billion S & P 500, EMS companies. Major responsibilities include regional wide human capital planning, directing, and coordinating to enhance employee productivity and creativity throughout the work force. He then moved to the academic field and served as Senior Advisor with the Vocational Training Council in 2002 to enhance the project coordination, implementation and promotion of VTC¡¯s wide range of education and training development programs.

Prior to returning to Hong Kong in 1993, Richard¡¯s career experience spans decision modeling, marketing, manpower development, and financial advisory services as Regional Vice President of A.L. Williams Co. in the United States. He has substantially improved the Company¡¯s regional staff development programs and has established a highly successful performance management system and the development of a skills inventory program for managers and agents.
Richard holds a BS and MBA degree at the Carlson School of Management ¨C University of Minnesota. He is also a CCP, CBP, GRP, US Certified Professional, CPM from the HKIM, US Notary Public, Member of Institute of Directors, UK and Fellow Member of Hong Kong Institute of Directors and qualified Independent Non-Executive Director in both US and APAC. An ex- US NASD Registered Principal, Richard is currently served as SME Mentor of the Trade & Industry Council - HKSAR, and as Overseas Chief Corporate Consultant of Shanghai University, as Adjunct Professor and Research Fellow of Corporate Learning Consortium of City University of Hong Kong and as Director of Academic Development - China Jingxiao Business School, Beijing and Director of Professional Continuing Development - Asia Knowledge Management Association, City University, Hong Kong. He is a regular and popular speaker among universities, professional institutes and private organizations to address the topic of organizational development, talent management and corporate governance.
